About me

Hi, I am Ann-Maree. I’m glad you’re here. As a Social Worker for 10 years working with children, young people and families, including grief and bereavement work sharing in people’s stories of love and loss was very special to me. I had no idea that I was about to live out a story of my own. On 31 st January 2015 my first son, Xavier was stillborn.

After five months leave from work, I slowly began my return to ‘everyday life’. My husband and I made the decision to try for another baby, and on 14th March 2017, we were lucky enough to welcome Xavier’s baby brother into the world. His name is Kai, and in a very special coincidence, he was born at 2:18pm – the exact same time as Xavier.

Through this life changing time I have become a voice for my son, through speaking engagements and campaigning in the media. I have also published a children’s book for bereaved families to read to the baby who lives in their heart.

I am committed to corporations and individuals with compassionate, well considered, and economically sensible solutions for supporting women and men who have experienced pregnancy loss and stillbirth.

My Baby’s Voice supports organisations by providing resources to help employers respond proactively, and exceptionally well to pregnancy loss and stillbirth.

I know you’ve found me for good reason. I look forward to meeting you.
